Load up the kids and pick a route to visit 32 farms on the Kaw Valley Farm Tour this weekend. Visitors will meet local farmers and see how everything from alpacas to zucchini is raised and grown.
The 12th annual farm tour includes farms along the Kaw River from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, October 1 and Sunday, October 2. The cost is $10 per carload. There will be guided tours of individual farms and wineries, educational displays, farm products for sale and activities for children and families.
