Volunteer to help plant trees this fall

Join the Heartland Tree Alliance in planting 300 tree seedlings at Shoal Creek and additional trees throughout the Kansas City area this fall.

Upcoming tree planting events include:

 

• Saturday, October 14, 9 a.m. – Noon

Country Club Neighborhood, 6101 Ward Parkway, Kansas City, MO Register

 • Mondays, October 16 – December 15, 9 a.m. – Noon

Shoal Creek, Kansas City, MO  Register [email protected]

• Saturday, October 21, 9 a.m. – Noon

North Waldo Neighborhood near 75th Street and Main streets, Kansas City, MO Register

• Wednesday, October 25, 9 a.m. – Noon

James A. Reed Park, 8801 James A. Reed Road, Kansas City, MO Register

Volunteers must register online for each event and will receive an email confirmation with more details. No prior tree planting experience is necessary. Tools and equipment will be provided. The minimum age is 14 with adult supervision.
