‘Tis the season to decorate for the holidays, and there are many opportunities to learn how to create festive decor from nature.

This free, family, walk-in class is open anytime between 9 a.m. to noon. Craft tables will be set up with all the items needed to create a nature craft for the holiday season.

Wonderland Workshop: Drop-in Gift Making for Families

Powell Gardens, 1609 N.W. U.S. Highway 50, Kingsville, MO
Powell Gardens will host a Drop-in Gift Making workshop designed for families who want to make ornaments, holiday cards and bird feeders. Children can visit with Santa and families can get a holiday photo taken. Festival of Lights admission applies and includes most hands-on activities. There is an additional fee for photographs and $2 fee per person for the ornament activity.
Natural Holiday Décor Workshop
Saturday, December 9, 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.
Powell Gardens, 1609 N.W. U.S. Highway 50, Kingsville, MO
At this natural decor workshop, participants will create a decoration for a door, a table and a gift to give or keep. They will receive instruction on the process of selecting, preparing and using plant materials to create unique door charms, garlands and a romantic kissing ball that will thrive in the seasons. The class includes a box lunch and adult beverage. There is a $110 fee (members receive 10% off).
