Kanza Day Family Outing

Kanza Day Family Outing

Date: October 27, 2012
Time: 2:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Details:

The Kanza Group of the Sierra Club invites its members and their family and friends to spend some quality time on an autumn day (and night!) exploring and enjoying the natural world. Experienced volunteers from TimberRidge Adventure Center and the Sierra Club will help participants hone their outdoor skills in hiking, fishing, archery, boating and birding. Backwoods, an Overland Park outdoor equipment business, is donating items for door prizes and awards. Bison burgers, franks and veggie burgers will be served for free, but participants are asked to bring a picnic dish to share (desserts, chips/dips, beans, salads, mac & cheese, vegetarian/vegan/ gluten-free specialties, etc.).
