The Secrets of “No-Till” Gardening

Sick of plowing, tilling, fertilizing and watering? Learn the basics of building and maintaining a no-till vegetable garden. The class will begin with a short lecture and video. Then enjoy a tour of URBAVORE’s extensive no-till commercial vegetable production. Finally, the class will begin transforming a sold-covered lawn into next season’s planting group without the use of gas-powered equipment.  Planting and seeding techniques will also be demonstrated.

This class is designed for beginners or long-time  gardeners. Print resources will include seeding and planting schedules, vital local resources and recipes.
