Enjoy a day of fun activities and learn about sustainability, waste reduction, composting, electric vehicles, energy conservation and more at the 18th Annual Lawrence Earth Day Parade & Celebration on Saturday, April 21.
The parade begins at 11 a.m. at 8th and Massachusetts streets and will process along Massachusetts to South Park. The celebration will open from 11:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. in South Park at 11th and Massachusetts streets.
The free event will feature environmental exhibits, live music, yoga, local food vendors and children’s activities. Attendees can learn about waste reduction, recycling, composting, alternative fuels and vehicles, energy conservation, land preservation, wildlife and habitat preservation.
