Find bargains at new Habitat ReStore

Save on new and gently-used construction materials and home furnishings at the grand opening of the new Habitat ReStore location in Martin City.

Habitat for Humanity of Kansas City will open its newest ReStore location in Martin City with a week of sales beginning at 9 a.m., on Saturday, September 29 through October 6 at 13531 Wyandotte St., in Kansas City, MO.

The 40,000-square-foot location is stocked with appliances, building materials, cabinets, doors, flooring, furniture, hardware, housewares, lighting, plumbing, tools and windows with usable items for homeowners, renters, college students, do-it-yourselfers, contractors, interior designers, landlords, treasure hunters and environmentalists. Last year Habitat Kansas City ReStores generated more than $4.8 million in revenue directly impacting Habitat’s mission of building affordable homes. The organization also diverted more than 6.2-million pounds of material from landfills and contributed to the local economy by providing many well-paying jobs.

“Every ReStore purchase creates the opportunity for a better life,” said Pat Turner, Habitat for Humanity of Kansas City president and chief executive officer. “All sales help Habitat construct homes for affordable homeownership, provide critical repairs, revitalize neighborhoods and support financial literacy classes for community members.”
