Help the Heartland Tree Alliance plant more trees in the metropolitan area by becoming a volunteer for a fall event.
Volunteers are needed to help plant at Pleasant Valley Park, 6401 NE Pleasant Valley Road, Kansas City, MO and the Timber Hill Neighborhood at 105 E. 125th Place, Kansas City, MO. Depending on the project , volunteers might be planting hundreds of small tree seedlings in riparian corridors along a stream or planting one-inch caliper trees in a right-of-way or city parks. No prior experience is needed, tools are provided and a proper planting instructions will be given before work begins.
