Explore the countryside at the Kaw Valley Farm Tour

Load up the kids and pick a route to visit 34 farms on the Kaw Valley Farm Tour this weekend. Visit local farmers, pumpkin patches and wineries and see how everything from alpacas to zucchini is raised and grown.

The 14^th annual farm tour includes farms along the Kaw River from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, October 5 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, October 6. Tickets are $10 per carload and are good for both days. There will be guided tours of individual farms and wineries, breakfast on a farm, local artisans, nurseries and greenhouses, pumpkin patches, educational displays, farm products for sale and activities for children and families. Pet a friendly alpaca, meet a horse that paints or chat with a chicken.
