This Mother’s Day, help mom start a spring garden with locally grown, organic bedding plants, shrubs and fruit trees from CultivateKC’s online Mother’s Day Plant Sale.
Check out the selection of tomato, pepper, eggplant, herbs and flowers at the CultivateKC online sale. Selections include 30 varieties of tomatoes, several pepper and eggplant selections, herb plantings of oregano, basil, tarragon, dill, and lavender hyssop. Flowers selections include native coreopsis and white yarrow, plus seven pear tree varieties, berry bushes and seeds.
To accommodate social distancing, customers must order in advance for pickup from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 9 at CultivateKC, Plexpod Westport Commons, 300 E. 39th St., Kansas City, MO. Delivery can also be scheduled within five miles of Westport Commons for a $5 fee.
All plants were grown locally by CultivateKC farmers and the Manheim Park Community Garden using organic techniques. Proceeds will benefit the garden and Westport Commons Farm. Orders must be made in advance at CultivateKC. For more information, visit CultivateKC or contact [email protected].
