Hop on your bike for KC Bike Month

In the days of COVID-19, bicycling has become even more popular with adults and children as a way to get outside, get some exercise and have an adventure, while safely distancing. May is (still) Bike Month, but like everything else these days, there are a few adjustments to some of the group events locally and across the country.

You can still find cycling events celebrating the 64rd annual National Bike Month and check for rescheduled events by searching your location at The League of American Bicyclists. For the most updated information on biking in Kansas City, visit BikeWalkKC.

During the coronavirus pandemic, RideKC Bike & Scooter is offering free 20-minute rentals. Bikes are sanitized daily, but riders are encouraged to wash their hands before and after use.

To access a free ride, users need to download the Drop Mobility app on their phone. For more information, visit RideKC.
