During November, the KC Parks Ambassadors are looking for volunteers to help with community litter clean up at Make a Difference Mondays.
The new initiative helps tackle the litter problem on boulevards and in city parks. Volunteers will work from 9:30 – 11 a.m. on Mondays, November 9, 16, 23 and 30 near 57th and Paseo Boulevard.
Since launching in April, KC Parks Ambassadors and volunteer groups have contributed more than 1,800 hours to clean up parks and boulevards, which the KC Parks Department estimates has saved it $46,000.
