Volunteer with the Kansas City Parks Ambassadors, and help clean up litter at Make a Difference Mondays events in city parks and along boulevards.
KC Parks Ambassadors help with cleanup throughout the 221 Kansas City parks. The initiative helps tackle the litter problem on boulevards and in city parks. Volunteers will work from 9:30 – 11 a.m. on Mondays, November 15, 22 and 29 near 57th and Paseo Boulevard.
Since the start of the pandemic, KC Parks Ambassadors and volunteer groups have contributed more than 4,400 hours to clean up parks and boulevards, which the Parks Department estimates has saved $120,000.
