Sign up for summer camp at the farm

Are you looking for summer camp? Look no further than Jr. Growers Summer Farm Camp, a program that empowers young minds to engage in regenerative agriculture alongside farmers and community leaders.

Kansas City Farm School at Gibbs Road hosts the 5-day farm camp for ages 9-12 in June and July.

The summer camp offers an array of engaging activities where children can gain hands-on experience on the farm including harvesting and marketing goods for sale at the farmers market. Campers will also learn the art of cooking their own food, developing a deeper connection to the sustenance they consume.

With a strong emphasis on S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), junior farmers will engage in educational activities that combine creativity and critical thinking, expanding their horizons in the process.
