Local Turkey
David’s Pasture
David’s Pasture has been raising turkeys for 11 years. The turkeys are raised with care, supplemented with a GMO-free diet, and experienced the joys of roaming on pasture. Multiple sizes are available for home delivery. Some sizes are already sold out.
KC Food Hub Pre-order online by November 10
Raised by Buttonwood Farm, the pasture-raised turkeys are fed an all-natural poultry chow with no antibiotics or hormones, and are encouraged to free-roam and forage. Three sizes are available with a $20 deposit. Orders will close on November 10th; Turkeys will be delivered the following week between November 15th and November 18th.
Bauman’s Mobile Meat Market
The Bauman Family offers pasture-raised turkey from their farm in Garnett, KS and sells locally at the Overland Park Farmers Market. Fresh and frozen turkeys are available for online pre-order and pickup at the market.
Farrar Family Farms Turkey breasts and legs only
Farrar Family Farms grows pasture-raised turkey that live inside mobile range coops that protect them from predators, but where they are given space to run around and forage for bugs and grasses. Whole turkeys are not available, but small turkey breasts and turkey legs can be purchased. There are upcoming pickup locations across the metro on November 16 and 18.
