Linger Over Breakfast Series: Healing the Universe One Plant at a Time

The Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet Linger Over Breakfast series will feature, Healing the Universe One Plant at a Time…our next steps, on Saturday, April 20 at St. Teresa’s Academy. Its 2024 series theme is, Care for our Common Home.

Want to enjoy beautiful butterflies, delicious vegetables, fabulous flowers all in your backyard, and help enhance sustainability in our lives as well? Amy Hereford, CSJ will share earth-saving tips from gardening, composting, and seed-saving, to home energy audits, and beekeeping.

The event will include breakfast, a presentation from Amy Hereford, and local organizations including St. Teresa’s Academy Green Team, After the Harvest, Compost Collective KC, Gardeners Connect, Jerusalem Farm, Kansas City Community Gardens, and more.

The event is presented by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet and sponsored by St. Teresa’s Academy, Avila University, and the Buchanan Initiative for Peace and Nonviolence.
