Handmade Parade for the Planet and Festival

Puppets a Glow is back for it’s fifth year of free family fun. New this year is an environmental twist – The Handmade Parade for the Planet and Festival.

Join StoneLion Puppet Theatre and Friends to celebrate the planet with environmental activities, art, music and a community parade of handmade puppets and costumes.

  • Friday, September 13 – Giant Puppet GLOW – 7 – 10 p.m. (Drive or walk through)
    Enter from Main and Memorial or Wyandotte and 31st street if driving. Kessler Drive will be closed.
  • Saturday, September 14 – Noon – 4 p.m. – Handmade Parade for the Planet and Festival
    3 p.m. Handmade Parade for the planet with giant puppets
  • Saturday September 14 – Giant Puppet GLOW – 7 – 10 p.m. (Walk through only) In the U-Drive in front of the National WWI Museum and Memorial, 2 Memorial Drive, Kansas City, MO
