Learn why chefs and environmentalists choose induction cooktops at this free Beyond Zero Series: Burn Ban – The Benefits of Induction Cooking workshop.

The Building Energy Exchange is hosting this webinar from 6 – 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 22.

Induction cooktops and ranges are gaining popularity as an integral part of a climate-friendly home, and an efficient, healthy and safe alternative to typical electric and gas ranges and cooktops. Induction appliance technology uses less energy and can produce heat without the harmful emissions, while cooking with more precision and efficiency than gas or other electric ranges. The technology also has the safety advantage of a cool cooktop, which reduces the risk of burns for children and the elderly.

If you’re not in immediate need of a new stove, the Inflation Reduction Act will provide a first-ever federal rebate program beginning in 2023 for energy-efficient appliances, including induction cooktops.
