Get outside and get online to learn all about the birds and bees at the annual Birds & Bees Festival in Arrow Rock, MO.
The festival is hosted by the Missouri River Bird Observatory and will be held in conjunction with The Village of Arrow Rock’s Vintage Garden Market from Thursday, May 6 – Saturday, May 8. The outside events will be held in Arrow Rock on May 8 and feature guided nature walks, plant and garden décor vendors, specialty food purveyors and more.
Events begin on Thursday, May 6 with a virtual festival kick off. A series of 15-minute “lightening” presentations on nature activities and home gardening will be featured at the top of every hour from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., Thursday through Saturday. Some of the featured presentations include:

- Wild Edibles
- Monarch Butterfly Conservation
A self-guided nature scavenger hunt will be hosted both in-person and virtually with a chance to win a pair of Athlon binoculars, a bird feeder and bird-friendly coffee.
Raffle tickets are available online or in person at the MRBO booth on Main Street on May 8. The raffle winner receives a four-person Arrow Rock experience sponsored by Missouri River Bird Observatory, Friends of Arrow Rock and Borgman’s Bed & Breakfast.
