Gardens at Sunset

Escape into Gardens at Sunset for an immersive garden experience, a picnic dinner and a silent auction to support Kansas City Community Gardens (KCCG).

The event will be held from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. Saturday, September 10 at the KCCG Beanstalk Children’s Garden, 6917 Kensington Ave., Kansas City, MO.

KCCG, a non-profit organization that offers community gardening expertise and assistance, works across the city to create a diverse collection of gardens grow fresh fruits and vegetables. The organization works with schools, community groups, nonprofits, churches and home gardeners to make growing their own food a reality.

Funds raised from this event will help KCCG continue to operate and expand these programs and help thousands of low-income Kansas Citians through KCCG’s Community Partner Gardens, Self-Help Gardens, Community Garden sites and The Giving Grove edible trees program.

Tickets are $103 per person and include a choice of three boxed picnic dinners, an auction and tour of the gardens and orchard. For more information or tickets, go to KCCG.
