For one day only, you can recycle old tires, bulky items, hazardous waste, leaf and brush, electronics, glass and more all in one place at the Hard to Recycle Collection Event in Kansas City, MO.

The event will be held from 8 a.m. – noon on Saturday, May 7 at the Manual Career and Tech Center, 1215 E. Truman Road and is open to Kansas City, MO residents.

Some electronic items require a fee by the recycler. Accepted Items include:

  • Electronics
  • Waste Tires
  • Bulky Items
  • Leaf and brush
  • Hazardous waste (paint, household cleaners etc.)
  • Small appliances
  • Clothes
  • Tools
  • Toys
  • Recyclable glass
  • Paper documents that need shredded
  • Items with Freon ($10)
  • CRT monitors ($5)
  • CRT TVs 26″ or less ($30)
  • CRT TVs 27″ or more ($50)
  • Wood console and true big screen/projection TVs ($50)
  • LED/LCD/plasma TVs ($20)
