Time: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Get an inside look at more than 350 flower varieties that are being tested to see how they fare in the Midwest soil and climate.
Midwest FlowerFest is open to the public from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Saturday, July 27 at the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens, 8909 W 179th St., Overland Park, KS.
Field Trials are the industry’s way of measuring how a particular variety will behave in a specific climate. The Midwest FlowerFest will showcase more than 250 containers and in-ground trials planted with more than 100 established and trial varieties.
Field trials will be on display in the gardens for the month of July. During that time, the arboretum will be measuring how well they perform in our environment. The event is included in the cost of admission.
