Native Landscape Chat

February is a good month to prepare garden beds for spring planting of native wildflowers and grasses as landscaping features. The Native Landscape Chat will provide tips on how to prepare garden beds, plant choices, and layout designs for spring gardening.

This free event will be held on Friday, Feb. 3 from 1 – 2 p.m. at the Anita B. Gorman Conservation Discovery Center, 4750 Troost Ave., Kansas City, MO.

Alix Daniel, Missouri Department of Conservation native landscape specialist, will also answer questions about using natives in landscape plantings.
