Enjoy a short nature hike to collect plant leaves, grasses and flowers, and learn how to create a solar nature print worthy of framing.

The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) is offering a free Nature Art: Solar Prints workshop for adults to learn how to use nature to make cyanotypes. This photographic printing process uses the sun, plants and water to create cyan-blue prints from nature.

The workshop will be held from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16 at the Anita B. Gorman Conservation Discovery Center, 4750 Troost Ave., Kansas City, MO.

Register at MDC.
