Meet up with like-minded individuals at a Nature-Connected Community Gathering to learn about aquaponics, EnviroTips and local environmental organizations and businesses.

The Resilient Activist, a non-profit group working for supportive, restorative practices for the Earth, will host this event from 10 a.m. – Noon on Saturday, March 16 at the Anita B. Gorman Conservation Discovery Center, 4750 Troost Ave., Kansas City, MO.

Maurice Person, founder of Kansas City Aquaponics, will share information about his partnership with East High School. Kansas City Aquaponics offers school workshops, landscape design and edible garden planning. Sami Aaron, founder of Resilient Activist, will offer tips on shopping for products that benefit the plant with an EnviroTips Revamp our Spending session.
