Get the basics on how to attract pollinators to your yard and add native plants to your garden at this free, Pollinator and Native Plant Gardening Workshop.

This free garden workshop will be held from 6 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 30 at the Olathe Community Center, 1205 E. Kansas City Road, Olathe, KS. It will cover the basics, including the importance of pollinator and native plants in your garden, tried and favorite species, basic garden layouts, general landscaping and efficiency tips and storm water benefits.

The class will be taught by Chris Cardwell, a Bridging the Gap program manager and landscape

All participants will receive free resources, including:

  • Pollinator garden design templates
  • GrowNative Business Resource Guide
  • Native garden catalog
  • Local plant sale information
