Get hands-on experience using a solar cooker in a four-hour Solar Cooking Workshop with the Kansas Permaculture Institute.
The workshop will be held from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 22 at the Buck Creek Schoolhouse, 1300 Phillips Road in Perry, KS.
As long as the sun cooperates, the class will cook a meal to share during the workshop. Multiple types of solar cookers will be discussed and will be on display.
The workshop fee is $35. For more information, contact Bill Price, instructor, at email@example.com. To register, go to Kansas Permaculture Institute (KPI).
KPI is a collaborative community of Kansas farmers and urban gardeners interested in the development of ecologically sustainable agricultural practices, production of healthy food, conservation of energy, education and sharing labor.
