Savor sustainable crab cakes, crab rangoon dip, salmon and other seafood selections from local chefs at the Sustainable Seafood Soiree at the Kansas City Zoo.
The fifth annual event is from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m., Saturday, April 22 and features Kansas City chef demonstrations, including Jax’s signature oysters on the half shell and other seafood treats. All seafood is selected from sustainable sources because it helps the conservation of animals such as sea lions and penguins.
This adults-only evening is set in Helzberg Penguin Plaza. Tickets are $35 for Friends of the Zoo (FOTZ) members and $45 for non-FOTZ members. It includes two drink tickets, live music and seafood. Purchase tickets from the Kansas City Zoo, 6800 Zoo Drive, Kansas City, MO.
