If it’s time to get rid of extra stuff at your house, round up your unwanted — but still usable — household items, electronics and clothing, and donate everything to charities at Un-Dumpster Day.
Re.Use.Full, a website that connects your used items with non-profit organizations that can rehome them, is hosting an Un-Dumpster Day on Saturday, October 29, from 9 a.m. – Noon at Southeast High School, 3500 E. Meyer Blvd., Kansas City, MO.
Charity partners will accept gently used items, including:
- Appliances
- Arts and craft supplies
- Bicycles
- Books
- Building materials
- Clothing
- Computers and electronics
- Furniture
- Games and puzzles
- Gardening equipment
- Home décor
- Hygiene products (new products and partially used boxes of soap, shampoo, etc.)
- Kitchenware
- Linens and towels
- Medical equipment, such as crutches, wheelchairs
- Mattresses (clean and usable)
- Music CDS, records, cassettes
- Musical instruments
- Office supplies
- School supplies
- Sports equipment
- Tools
- TVs (no consoles)
- Toys
