Time: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Taking a walk in the woods is a good balance to too much turkey and the beginning of holiday stress. So join a naturalist for a Wildlife Turkey Trot around Kauffman Legacy Park and the Discovery Center and learn about the native landscape.
You’ll look for migrating waterfowl, animal tracks and other signs of wildlife. Participants can also make a prairie cordage bracelet.
This free one-hour event will begin at three times: 10 a.m., 11:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 26 at the Anita B. Gorman Discovery Center, 4750 Troost Ave., Kansas City, MO.
