Join Cydney Ross, native landscape specialist with the Missouri Department of Conservation, for an exploration on native plants in winter. Ross will discuss native plants that do well in the winter and can provide important food and shelter for birds and other animals.
This free event includes a virtual and in-person option and both will be held on Saturday, January 28.
The virtual event will be held from 10 – 11 a.m. To register, visit mdc.mo.gov.
The in-person class will be held from 2 – 3 p.m. at the Anita B. Gorman Discovery Center, 4750 Troost Ave., Kansas City, MO. To register, visit mdc.mo.gov.
