Would you like to learn more about making your company a certified zero-waste business? Attend a free webinar, and see how Posty Cards and PrintForest were the first to achieve this goal.

Tina Moessner, sustainability coordinator for Posty Cards/PrintForest, will explain the zero-waste process during an online event from 1 – 2 p.m. (CST), Thursday, December 10. It is hosted by the Green Business Network and Johnson County Community Colleges Center for Sustainability.

Posty Cards/PrintForest was the first company to achieve the US Green Building Council (USGBC) TRUE® Zero Waste certification in Missouri and the first printing facility in the country to achieve the highest platinum level.

Posty Cards is a manufacturer of business-to-business greeting cards and owner of PrintForest, a sustainable, business printing division that also plants trees to offset all paper use. The TRUE®  certification, one of many third-party verifications achieved by Posty Cards and PrintForest, documents the diversion of more than 90 percent of the company’s solid waste from landfills, while cutting greenhouse gases and reducing costs.
