Position Description

Main Duties:

  • Plan and promote Un-Dumpster Day events, which serve as a one-stop-drop for people to donate their still-good clothing, toys, books, furniture, bikes and other household items as well as shred confidential documents and recycle tires.
  • Plan and promote Repair Cafes, which offer people a resource to repair their lamps, small appliances, furniture, bikes, clothing and computers instead of replacing them.
  • Plan and promote Wednesday 101 webinars, which are free, hour-long, virtual lunch ‘n’ learn educational opportunities featuring a variety of sustainability-focused topics
  • Recruit nonprofit organizations, schools and churches join as Re.Use.Full charity partner.
  • Maintain positive relationships with current charity partners.
  • Recruit and manage volunteers.

This is a new grant-funded, 1099 contract position. Salary is $30/hour for 20 hours/week.
