Visit Electric Avenue featuring sustainable models of transportation at the June 3 Ohev Sholom KosherFest. Congregation Ohev Sholom is partnering with the Metropolitan Energy Center to showcase electric cars such as the Chevy Volt, Fisker Karma, Tesla Roadster, Mitsubishi i and Nissan Leaf.
KosherFest will emphasize many sustainable practices, underscoring that keeping kosher isn’t just about food, but about lifestyle choices. The event is a celebration of Jewish food traditions and will feature kosher foods, Jewish music and dance, a shuk with crafts for sale, a used book sale, and a children’s play area.
The event will be from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. on June 3 at Congregation Ohev Sholom, 5311 W 75th St, Prairie Village, KS. Admission is $2 for entrance to KosherFest.
