Stroll through a tallgrass prairie full of wildflowers and native grasses, and enjoy live bluegrass music at the Sweet Sounds of Summer prairie tour.

Explore a wide variety of native plants at the home of Laurie Brown in Liberty, MO from 6 – 9 p.m. on Friday, July 16. The event includes refreshments and a silent auction in support of Green Works KC.

Event tickets are $30 each and can be purchased in advance at Green Works KC. Organizers will email the exact location after registration. In case of rain, the tour will be rescheduled to 6-9 p.m. on Saturday, July 17.

All proceeds support Green Works’ efforts to raise $20,000 to expand its ECOS Nature Exploration program for an additional 40 students entering 4th to 8th grades. Each year, Green Works educates more than 150 students on environmental issues and empowers them to become future environmental leaders. For more information or to donate, visit Green Works.
