Do you qualify for solar & energy grants?

As the weather heats up, the city of Merriam, KS is offering its’ residents up to $2,500 to install solar systems, geothermal, new windows and energy-efficiency improvements.

The Merriam Residential Sustainability Grant will reimburse Merriam homeowners 20 percent – up to $2,500 – for costs related to energy efficiency improvements, including:

  • Insulation
  • HVAC or water heater
  • Windows
  • Solar panels
  • Wind power
  • Geothermal heating/cooling
  • Duct sealing
  • Home energy audit

Homeowners need to spend $2,500 or more on eligible improvements to receive a grant. Learn more and apply online at merriam.org/grants.
