Check out 34 electric vehicles during Drive Electric Week

Local electric vehicle (EV) enthusiasts can get a close-up look at 34 EVs and meet their owners during National Drive Electric Week.

EV owners will all-electric, plug-in, hybrid-electric cars, trucks and motorcycles will be available to talk about their vehicles from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14 at Village Presbyterian Church, 6641 Mission Road, Prairie Village, KS.

Owners will discuss how EVs are less expensive and more convenient to fuel than gasoline vehicles, are better for the environment, promote local jobs, reduce dependence on foreign oil – and are fun to drive. The event is free.

An optional dinner is available at the church from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. for $7. Reservations are required and can be made by emailing Al Pugsley at [email protected].
