KC Current Solar Panel Ribbon Cutting

Good Energy Solutions, one of the leading solar design and installation companies in Kansas and Missouri, will hold an event on Saturday, May 18 at 5:30 p.m. to cut the ribbon on a new solar panel installation for CPKC Stadium, home of the Kansas City Current professional women’s soccer team.

The Kansas City Current partnered with Good Energy Solutions and REC, a leading global solar panel manufacturer, to install the new solar system on the roof of the Team Store and on top of the awning above the Helzberg Diamonds Gate.

The solar array is made up of 180 REC Alpha Pure-R panels and will produce roughly 100,000 kilowatt hours of energy annually, which is equivalent to the burning of 70,000 pounds of coal.
