Help “steer the bus” at public forums

Share your ideas about bus services in the metro at a public forum hosted by Kansas City Area Transportation Authority (KCATA).

KCATA is hosting a series of public forums in March to give the public an opportunity to voice their opinions. It currently operates a fleet of more than 270 buses, providing more than 54,000 customer trips per weekday.

At the forums, riders can share opinions about transit operations, including how routes are aligned, safety, stop locations and transit amenities. Everyone who attends a forum will be entered into a drawing to win a 31-day pass.

Here are the dates and locations for the first round of listening sessions in March:

  • Saturday, March 5, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., at University of Missouri-Kansas City, Volker Campus, Student Union Coffee Stage, 51st Street & Cherry Street, Kansas City, MO
  • Wednesday, March 16, 5 – 7 p.m., at Keystone United Methodist Church, 406 W. 74th St., Kansas City, MO
  • Tuesday, March 22, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., at a RideKC bus, 12th St. & Grand Blvd., Kansas City, MO

Comments and questions can also be made by calling 816-346-0300 or at www.ridekc.org.
