Recycle for a cause at Heartland ReStore

On Saturday, November 14, the Merriam ReStore will host its annual Electronics Recycling Event from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. as part of America Recycles Day. It will accept up to 10 items per car. Each year, the event collects between six and eight tons of electronics.

Each ReStore offers shoppers low prices, making them perfect locations for DIY project inspiration, home improvement projects and affordable alternatives to commercial purchases. At the Merriam Lane location in Wyandotte County, shoppers can find Evolve paint, a 70-percent organic, low-emission paint made from recycled waste paint that sells for just $12 per gallon.
