Reduce energy use at home

Explore the benefits of home energy audits and solar panels at an Energy Efficiency Workshop on June 8, and discover tips to save energy from your basement to roof.

The Kansas City Board of Public Utilities (BPU) will present the free Energy Efficiency Workshop for homeowners interested in reducing energy costs. Workshops include:

  • Getting and Installing Your Home Solar Power System Speaker: Marion Strick, Kansas City, KS homeowner
  • Ground Zero: Basement to Roof Energy Efficiency Speaker: David Allen, BPU

The event will be held at the West Wyandotte Public Library at 1737 N. 82nd Street in Kansas City, KS. There are two repeat sessions: 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided.
