It’s now easier for bicyclists to ride from Downtown to the Crossroads. The city of Kansas City, MO opened new bike lanes in October linking the two popular areas along Grand Boulevard from the River Market to 20th Street.
Completion of the Grand Boulevard bike lanes wraps up the first phase of the two-phase Downtown Bike Loop project. The $600,000 project will continue in spring 2018. Cyclists can rent bikes at 20th and Grand from BikeWalkKC’s Kansas City BCycle bike share service.
