6. Give back on Giving Tuesday

After a holiday that celebrates the abundant harvest and two of the biggest shopping days of the year on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, there is a reminder to give back.

On December 1, Giving Tuesday is an opportunity to support non-profit organizations that you value.

Whether you choose to hike, experience pioneer days or shop locally, you can change up your normal Black Friday routine this year by choosing at least one environmentally friendly activity and making a donation to your favorite charity.
