U.S clean energy jobs: Missouri ranks #4 and Kansas ranks #6

According to a new report released by Environmental Entrepreneurs (E2), Missouri and Kansas rank in the top ten states for clean energy jobs in the first quarter of 2014. Missouri ranks #4 and Kansas ranks #6.

The top ten states include Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, New Mexico, New York and Texas.

On Thursday (May 22, 2014), Environmental Entrepreneurs (E2) released its closely watched quarterly, state-by-state clean energy and clean transportation jobs report. The clean job numbers for the first quarter of 2014 was unveiled at www.CleanEnergyWorksforUS.org.

According to the report, clean energy jobs are on a decline from the previous two quarters partly due to federal tax credits ending.
