Volunteer to plant trees in the Northland

Help the Heartland Tree Alliance plant more trees in the Northland by becoming a volunteer this spring.

Volunteers are needed to help plant trees in these neighborhoods:

• 1 – 4 p.m., Saturday, March 16

Northbrook Neighborhood, 7432 N. March Road, near Shoal Creek Parkway and I-435 in Kansas City, MO

• 1 – 4 p.m., Saturday, March 23

Amber Meadow Neighborhood, 10207 NE Terrace, Kansas City, MO from and the Timber Hill Neighborhood at 105 E. 125th Place, Kansas City, MO.

Planting shade trees along the street provides environmental and social benefits to the neighborhood and community. No prior experience is needed, tools are provided and proper planting instructions will be given before work begins.
