Hands-On in the Garden – Planting Cool Season Crops – Workshop

Kansas City Community Gardens (KCCG) is hosting a free workshop on garden planting.

Come see planting techniques for cool season vegetable crops being demonstrated in the Beanstalk Children’s Garden. We will be demonstrating planting seeds, vegetable plants, seed potatoes, onion sets and onion plant. Other demonstration will include; preparing the soil for planting, mulching and watering after planting.Workshop will be held outside in the garden (weather permitting).

It’s limited to 20 participants.

In addition to in-person workshops, KCCG also maintains a library of virtual gardening workshops.
