The Sewing Labs is hosting the beginner-friendly class, the Art of Mending.

Learn the joyful, meditative art of visible mending: a method of clothing repair that emphasizes the fix. Visible mending can turn a hole or a tear into something uniquely beautiful, creative and fun.

In this class, you will learn a variety of hand sewing techniques including patching, darning and sashiko stitching to repair your well-loved clothing items.

All materials to make a mending sampler are included. You are also welcome to bring your own mending projects to work on.
