As part of an ongoing effort to build sustainable infrastructure, Kansas City is giving free bike racks to requested locations.
City biking is on the rise in the metro, as evidenced by RideKC Bike’s record breaking ridership numbers in its popular bikeshare service.
But, are bike racks keeping up?
You can request a free bike rack from the city for locations across the Kansas City, Missouri metro.
It is currently looking to supply bike racks to small businesses, community centers, schools, and other public locations that need one.
Also, if you are a bike commuter in need of community bike racks, consider sharing this program with local businesses or property owners.
