This weekend, local creators and makers will display their repurposing ideas, artistic creativity and electronic ingenuity at the Maker Faire Kansas City.
This family-friendly festival brings together the makers, crafters, inventors, hackers, scientists and artists to inspire creativity. Exhibits and demonstrations include repurposed creations, electric bikes, electronics, artisan foods, woodworking, arts and crafts, a car show, makerspaces, bee and alpaca farms, green household products, robotics, quilting, KCPT Kidszone and live music.
The 2019 Maker Faire Kansas City will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, June 23, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 24 at Union Station, 30 W. Pershing Rd., Kansas City, MO. Tickets are $17 per day. Children (ages 3-12) get discounted rates of $14 per day.
