Plug In America recently launched the PlugStar EV Shopping Assistant to help consumers learn more about driving electric, find the best EV for their needs and connect with a local dealer in their area.
There are seven Electric Drive Week events in the Kansas City/Lawrence area during the week of September 8 – 16.

Boulevard Drive In

EV owners are invited to park in the Boulevard Drive-In’s designated EV parking area to watch the movie, The Predator, which premiers that day. The cost is $10 per car, cash only. The Merc Co+op features solar parking canopies and a solar powered EV charging station, making this a net-zero carbon EV charging station. I wish I could attend this even in KC! My husband and I are loving our recently bought 2015 NIssan Leaf. It has made driving around Honolulu traffic so much easier and we just trickle charge it at night from our outside electrical outlet that normally plugs into our washer. Thanks for this great info!
